| description | I am a 24 year old male from Greece. I finished my undergraduate studies in electrical and computer engineering in NTUA (National Technical University of Athens) this October and I am about to start a master's degree in Robotics, Systems and Control in ETHz. I am pretty passionate about robotics, machine learning and some similar fields and I like having discussions about science, but I am definitely not a super geek like the guys from Big Bang Theory. In Greece, a lot of people do not really get the chance to travel abroad, including myself. The first time I travelled abroad was during the summer of 2018, where I did a three month Internship in Brussels (meaning that I do have some experience living with roommates). I have always been very enthusiastic about going abroad, as it was something I had never done and the experience of living in Belgium was truly amazing for me. That said, I look forward to also living in Switzerland! In my spare time, apart from going out and chilling with friends (yeap we do that a lot in Greece), I like watching movies and series and I am a bit of a gamer (even though I have always had a potato PC :'( ). One of my main hobbies is playing music amateurly. I play the piano, the guitar and for the last three years I am trying to learn the violin, which I plan to bring to Zurich. I am not a huge sports guy, however I always try to have some regular exercise or play some sports when I have free time. I like playing basketball (I played with a team for a couple of years), tennis, table tennis and I also had KickBoxing lessons for a couple of years. |
